Challenge # 120 - Patterned Paper

Hello all!   Karrie's turn to host, but before I begin the new challenge: here's a reminder of our structure change. We will continue to post challenges on the first and third Monday each month, and the winner from each challenge will be invited to be a guest designer for one of our future challenges so we can showcase your beautiful work! Then, all our winners -local AND international- for those three months will be entered into a drawing for an incredible prize!
For full participation details, please click and read the "How to Play" link.

OK, so one of my favourite things about scrapping is the choice of patterned papers available.
I love to mix and match patterns and colours and create colourful busy pages.
I would like to see your favourite patterns ~ the more you use the more fun it is!
Here's my page, with 13 patterns!  Coordinated with the Bella Blvd Riley collection.
and here's what the other talented PaperGirls have created...

Brittany
I have so many packs of coordinated patterned paper where I love EVERY single sheet, so I cut up a little of each to pull together this double page layout

Kristy
I knew when I took these photos of my family using our VR glasses, that I wanted a "Space Age"/Futuristic feel to the layout.  Carta Bella's Space Academy worked out perfect for this!

Amber
I created an art journal page. But instead of using lots of inks and paints like I normally do, this time I only used patterned papers (and some word stickers).

And now.... congrats to the winner of Challenge #119...

Challenge #119 - Confetti!

Hello, and Happy New Year!!!

We are SO happy to have you all joining us for our first challenge in 2017! But, before we start, us Paper Girls want to announce an exciting change to our winning structure. We will continue to host challenges on the first and third Monday each month, but our winner from each challenge will be invited to be a guest designer for one of our future challenges so we can showcase their beautiful work! Then, each quarter, all our winners for those three months will be entered into a drawing for an incredible prize! This allows us to finally open up our prize structure to all of our incredible participants, local AND international! We are REALLY looking forward to this new change! For full participation details, please be sure to read through the "How to Play" link here on our blog. We can't wait to see your creations when playing along with the challenges!

So...with that exciting news, it's time to celebrate! And, if we're going to have a celebration, we've got to have some confetti to go with it! So, we are challenging you to create a project inspired or using wonderfully messy CONFETTI! Be sure to link up your projects below before 11:55pm (MST) on Saturday, January 14th.

Here is what our design fantastic design team created with this week's theme:

I always find confetti to be beautifully messy - all the colors and lack of pattern. So I created these simple cards to highlight the beautiful mess - all using the end of a pencil, random inks, and a bit of washi.

Confetti is for parties so I went with this birthday page covered in confetti, and kids covered in cake!
Happy New Year!

Kristy
A touch of confetti makes any birthday more festive!

Erica
I wanted to make a shaker card ever since I bought the Fuse tool. Confetti is perfect for this!

And now.... congrats to the winner of Challenge #118: Ashley
Please send an e-mail within two weeks to papergirlschallengeblog@gmail.com
